LOGLINE

A solitary man documents a presence in his home, and finds
himself confronting a surreal reflection of the self he has
tried to suppress.


SYNOPSIS

After a solitary man begins noticing signs of a mysterious
presence in his home, his attempts to document the anomalies
only deepen his fear. As the haunting grows more personal, he
is forced to confront a disturbing and surreal reflection of
the self he has tried to suppress.

DIRECTOR

T. J. De Bos is a first-time filmmaker based in Northeast
Ohio. With a background in music production, he emphasizes
the role of sound and score in shaping and elevating visual
storytelling. Ikiryō marks his directorial debut, a
psychological horror short exploring themes of identity and
emotional suppression, for which he also served as writer,
producer, cinematographer, editor, and lead actor.
